As for me the theory that invisible microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, and germs cause disease is an ancient myth.
It stands to this day because there is great profit to be made.
Pathogens don't cause disease, they are the consequence of disease.
For example, viruses don't cause disease but manifest themselves after we are diseased.
Viruses and other microorganisms form an intricate symbiotic relationship inside the human body called the human virome. It is estimated that the human virome is comprised of roughly 380 trillion viruses within the roughly 100 trillion cells that make up a person's body.
However, most viruses are harmless and don't incite the immune system. In brief, you don't catch disease—you create it, period!
Virology is pseudoscience.
