China and India may be the wild cards in all this. If they bump up imports of Russian energy the ruskies may not get hurt at all.

#33. The counter offensive in Kherson will take a few months, just as it took Russia months to conqueror and secure what it has. If Ukraine turns it around, China and India will have to make political calculations as to how far they are willing to take sides.

It will take another year to a year and a half, I really think Ukraine will win. The Russia military's demonstrated weaknesses are huge factor. This is not the great Russian bear of the Cold War and Reagan years anymore.
