I am normally a polite, respectful, low-key, well-spoken guy who choses words with some care, and try to be logical and reasonable. I don’t inflame, bloviate, or preach.

I have not had good luck discussing politics with liberals, no matter how circumspect I am. There is always the brittle, stubborn point, which one can’t get past.

I have given up. I don’t know where this is all going, but my gut suggests it won’t end up in a good place.

I firmly believe that we cannot get through to most “liberals” because they cannot be truthful with us in their position.

For example, abortion. They say they have no problem because it’s just a lump of cells like a tumor. We try mightily to demonstrate how this is false. Trouble is, they KNOW it’s false. They’re just taking this position because they can’t say what their true position is. They pretend not to understand our position. They anger and get frustrated because they KNOW we’re right. It forces them to internally accept their true position... which makes them monsters with a non-stop ticket to hell.
