Timing. Brandon’s speech will be down the memory hole by the end of the Labor Day weekend, so there’s no use wasting our rhetorical ammo now—next week will be more effective. That doesn’t mean the RINOs will actually attack Brandon, but the MAGA leaders are about to go ballistic in order to keep our base energized.
