The Yacht Rock "Deep Cuts" station on SiriusXM (available only in the streaming app) has pretty much the entire Steely Dan catalog in their playlist.

It's a crime that FM radio in the 1970s only played about a half dozen Steely Dan cuts. This song here is just one of many others that should have been in heavy rotation.

Almost every musician wants to play Steely Dan on their instruments. Even harps...

Killer song, from the opening notes on Larry Carlton’s guitar.

One of my favorite songs from them.

I saw them live in 1974 in Long Beach California. They were unbelievably good and true to their songs, playing them exactly like the record.

Steely Dan was a favorite of mine over the years.

"Don't Take Me Alive" is a reference to David Fine, one of four students who bombed the Sterling Hall building in 1970.

Agents of the law
Luckless pedestrians
I know you’re out there
With rage in your eyes and your megaphones
Saying all is forgiven
Mad dog surrender
