The sunrise in Corpus was a summer sunrise. Four hundred miles north (DFW) summer sunrises are still found. Yes, DFW
does have cold, and SNOWY winters. No need to remind you of
the year we saw snow on Thanksgiving Day. Or the below freezing temps we survived during the rolling black outs of a
few years ago. Few ‘news’ outlets broadcast the truth in the
number of victims claimed due to the inability to heat homes
for the ill and elderly.

Unfortunately, we’ve not seen the last of such catastrophes.

I moved from TX over 25yrs ago the 60s had some bitter winters. Blue Nawtherns (cold front) my Granny used to say.
