Point is, they were held, despite 24/7 fear-mongering. Stolen, but held. That was the main point I was gettin’ at with that phrase. :-)
Speaking of Covid-19, I thought I'd share a small win from my area. Visited the office of a client earlier this week. The head paralegal there had been jabbed 3 times and, although she was always friendly, polite and professional, she made it clear that she absolutely DID NOT WANT to hear anything against the injections. So I held my peace for months, in the hopes that eventually, she'd see the light.
This week, we struck up a conversation, in which she said that despite being injected 3 times, she had gotten Covid-19 anyway and would NOT be getting any more jabs, under any circumstances. Her exact words were "I am DONE. It was all a fraud. It was never about our health, it was just a way to control us".
Don't know when I've ever been more proud of someone.
