Is it just me or is it a “formal, presidential”-thing, but I can’t recall military people (i.e. “Biden’s” Marines) having a standing position where the hands are clasped in front at waist-level? When I was in, you were either at attention, parade rest, or as-you-were.
I noticed that too, and went to search for images of Marines with Trump.
There are a few images of Marines standing like that, but didn’t see any of them with Trump, or standing behind him.
There were three or four like that, with the Marines standing outside some white double doors.
It is an odd stance. I remember attention, parade rest, and at ease, as the stances without rifles. Not sure what this stance is supposed to be. Maybe it has been around, and I just missed it.
I thought the same too, did some checking and it looks like it’s a Sentry Stance, examples of Marines at the White House are out there.
I’m not quite accepting that these are real Marines. So far no one will admit giving orders to allow them to go to Filly in the first place. And why are the lights out? It’s so dark there details are hard to verify?
