Yes. I do ask that ultra long posts of any content topic be strategically posted to shorten the length.Perhaps excerpt a portion that best captures the overall content and put a link to the rest of the post in Festival? This is to save computer scroll wheels and keep phone users from giving up on thread content because it takes them so much longer to scroll past posts.
In general, I think content should be posted to FR to reserve it in case it's deleted at the source, but not all of it has to be on the active thread.
