Yeah, I expect it’s proper lawyer mumble and all, but it’s an old pet peeve of mine that legalish documents can’t fight the urge to make up a term for the actual person involved. I used to write instructions to build submarines such that a high school sophomore could build one if he could drill/weld/hammer/lift without having to look up the second meaning of the text. I never lost a sub but a lot of lawyers/judges have lost their asses. With a little luck there will be a lot more degradation in the legalcorpse when Trump gets thru.
