Breaking.... two Sachse (sack-see), TX police officers were ambushed in their squad car about midnight on Friday morning, by a man with a shotgun.
The officer behind the wheel was hit in the head. The officer in the passenger seat was slightly wounded but returned fire and hit the gunman. Limited information is being released by Sachse PD, but both officers were treated and released from the local hospital. The gunman is still in the hospital.
No info on the type of loads in the shotgun.
Sachse is a small bedroom community on the northeast side of Dallas.
