I’d like to chirp in about donations. I would ask you, me, all of us to consider donating regardless of the increase of posting that is at the bleeding edge. I would agree that the:
spoons stick to injection sites /
President Trump may be trying to send us a message by holding a glass of water with both hands /
President Trump is still in power and the military will re-install him in office /
etc
have probably led to FReepers looking elsewhere to comment
but FR is needed more than ever. To offer different viewpoints, to correct what may be inaccurate information, and to have fun (hopefully). You are an important part of the FR mission. I’d ask you to again consider donating.
I will take it under advisement. But to be clear it is not the substance of what is posted. It is the uneven application of the rules. It appears to many of us that some are more equal than others. I am fine with donating with a free and robust conversation no matter how strange it is. I am not ok with paying to get bludgeoned and penalized while other far more egregious actors have penalties overturned immediately or are untouchable.
When the rules are equally applied I will happily restore my donations.
In the meantime I need to go continue being Dr Mengele, stand trial for crimes against humanity, be hung from a yard arm, collect my enormous paycheck from Pfizer, be a $hot $hill and either actively doxxed (yes it finally happened) or be threatened with lawsuits to which I say to those go ahead. Bring a lawsuit. I have nothing better to do than tie them up in discovery for years and bleed them of their resources. My lawyers would enjoy the exercise of that discovery. As it turns out they have heard of what had been posted here and would enjoy trying some of their legal theories in formal proceedings. I would enjoy it too.
So remind me why I should donate? If an when there is just an equal application of the rules I will again support and double my monthly donation.
