The vaccines (Pfizer and Moderna) contain lipid-encapsulated mRNA which encodes human cells to produce spike protein.

The vaccines do not contain the protein.

Right - it’s Novavax which is a purified injection of spike proteins. The mRNA’s tell the body to produce the spike protein.
