I didn’t know it was possible to order from Amazon by phone.
A few times we’ve received confirmation emails about things (a couple were laptops) we supposedly ordered, but hadn’t. We called and they referred it to their fraud department. It never appeared on our credit card.
Haven’t had any issues after signing up for the additional extra verification code via text.
We’ve always had excellent customer service when it was necessary.

They treated me like a criminal. Instead of referring to a charge to my account they always referenced to it as my purchase.
