He’s just pissed that you haven’t posted anything recently where he could warp his mind around a gay love fantasy.

That’s why he surfs thousands of forums a day.

Had either the Soviets or the Americans used nuclear weapons in Afghanistan, the Afghans would have surrendered. Resolve doesn't win when you're outgunned that badly, and most of your people are dead.

Our military will obey the orders of their superior officers. Those orders will be enforced from the top general down to the lowest enlisted man. Your typical 19-year-old PFC doesn't know anything about the Constitution. When he is ordered to fire on "insurgents," he will fire. It doesn't matter whether that military man is from a blue state or a red state.

As far as mining, agriculture and other producers and providers, the government will simply transfer the properties from "insurgents" to "Americans loyal to their government." The government can't afford to let somebody else have the last word on the use or violence. That would lead to its collapse.

Found a Russian interpretation of putins speech which is different but makes a big difference. Thank you for corrections. This seems to be a edited video.

"I want to emphasis that the multi-polar world, based on international law and more just relations, opens up new opportunities for counteracting common threats, such as regional conflicts and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, terrorism and cyber-crime. All these challenges are global, and therefore it would be impossible to overcome them without combining the efforts and potentials of all states"

The British had a 3000-mile gap in their supply lines -- the Atlantic Ocean. War is about logistics, and the Americans had the supply line advantage. The Brits even had to hire Hessian mercenaries because their military strength was overdrawn elsewhere.

The French were critical in our success. They started with money, armaments and military trainers. Then they escalated to the French Navy and finally to French ground troops at Yorktown. Who would take France's role today if the federal government decided to teach the American people a lesson?

Thank you. DH speaks Russian and likes to see Putin’s speeches with out dubbing, just subtitles. We watched a version with different subtitles. DH then can compare. He was raised in communist Poland and had to learn Russian in school, had no love for Russia obviously. But he sees what Putin says and does and it is anti-globalist totally.

“Who would take France’s role today if the federal government decided to teach the American people a lesson?”

Nobody. It’s hopeless. Best that we just give up.

No one, that’s who.
We have our best shot at this, right now. But, without US military, even PDJT couldn’t pull this off.

If you want to take on the American military head-on, then -- yes -- best not to start.

But there's another way. I suggest you read James Madison's Federalist #46 for details. The states are the means to tame a federal government that has broken out of the constitutional prison that Madison designed for it.

The people, that is, the “militia,” no matter how well armed and trained, wouldn’t have a chance in a confrontation with a standing military. As Biden pointed out, the standing military has fighter planes and nuclear weapons, both of which would be used against a recalcitrant population

thats why winning revolutions are not against standing military...swamp fox type methods and individuals not armies
read the book its long but great read think outside the box, ..feed em to the hogs

Correct. I have a problem visualizing a triumvirate of general and flag officers commandeering the media and sending troops to seize federal facilities.

"We've decided to remove domestic and foreign enemies. In the next few months, we will purge America of all enemy influence and then restore the Constitution."

I don't see a Franco or Pinochet figure emerging from our military.
