I’m sure this dippy National Archives woman was pacing back and forth deciding on the relative merits of the case. /S
The White House told her to play on their ball team to get Trump and she said “I’m a woman. I hate and despise Trump and his hairstyle and his tweets. I’ll tell any lie you want to bring him down like my ex husband who never appreciated me. All men are alike.”
Debra Steidel Wall became Deputy Archivist of the United States in July 2011. She previously served as the agency’s Chief of Staff (2008-2011), and in a variety of management
positions relating to bringing NARA’s [National Arcives]archival holdings to the public online. She joined the National Archives in 1991 as an archivist trainee with a specialty in film, and holds an undergraduate degree in history and government from Georgetown University, and a graduate degree in film from the American University.
The woman is a rabid feminist and shnauzer; I’m surprised she is not posterperson in ads pumping government employment.
Never heard of her nor had to deal with her. Must have stayed in the background when the shit hit the fan several times over records preservation and ownership issues. Othwerwise I would have had to kick her ass too.
The Achives was supposed to be a non-political entity but that has gone by the wayside over the past few years. That is a shame because it means that they can deny American and foreign scholars, etc. the legal right to see certain types of documents for research, journalistic work, or possibly uncovering communist intelligence/subversive activities against the US over time.
THe late communist Rep. John Conyers Jr (D-MI), aided by the backstabbing Democrat congressional leader from New Jersey or Massachusetts (temporarily have forgotten his name - head of the House Judiciary Committee, 1975-76), tried to destroy hundreds of thousands of records/ddocuments of the House Committee on Un-American Activities Committee/House Internal Security Committee and possible their predecessor committee, The Dies Committee - Special Committee on Un-American activities (1936-41 or so).
Only the quick work of Rep. John Ashbrook (R-OH) and Rep. Larry MacDonald (D-Pa?) saved them from illegal destruction. Conyers did get a 50 year retention withholding date for them but I think it was reduced to 25 years later on.
Who knows what other records the Democrats tried to or did have destroyed so that they never got into the archival system.
