Gosh - I guess Kamala failed to find the reason so many flee that and other Central American countries to come to the US.
The president there got the equivalent of a formal declaration of war and used that to simply round them up. In a country where cops, prison guards, judges, politicians were all afraid or corrupted by the gangs, it was the only way.
A big change was to take control of the prisons away from the gangs, they cannot communicate with the outside world which means they can’t run the gangs from inside anymore. And there is no one left to run, they are all either behind bars or in hiding.
Of course the gangs made it easy by tattooing themselves with easily identifiable gang tattoos. That, and they can just check your cell phone contact list. Easy. And at this points ordinary people aren’t afraid to turn them in anymore.
So El Salvador has gone in a short time from being the most dangerous country on Planet Earth times three to being the safest in Latin America with a murder rate of zero.
The president’s ambition there was to turn the country from being a place to escape from to being a place people would want to live in. It’s happening.
As you can imagine, the leftists, the Soros NGOs, and the US State Department are not happy.
