There is a vast difference in knowing the Bible academically and living the truth of the Living Word in our thoughts, prayers, and actions.
As we draw closer to the Lord we move away from the world. This is the hard part for so much of the world is presented as innocent fun, just politics, or I’m not as bad as those people.
When we look at the world through Gods eyes, things become simple:
If God is for it, Satan is against it!
God - marriage between a man and a woman
Satan- marriage between you and anything, a woman in England married a tree in her front yard a few years ago
God - Be fruitful and multiply
Saran - Abortion ( even post birth)
God - Male and female created He them
Satan- You can choose any gender you can imagine
God- you will live by the fruits of your labor (and I will clothe you as the birds in the field)
Satan - Take from the rich and give to the poor, taxes where one man lives by another man’s labor, government safety nets, etc
Everything we see in the news and politics must needs be looked at in the light of God’s moral clarity. Then it becomes very evidently clear where to draw the battle lines in our lives. Our choices become crystal clear, and who the right choice is for our leadership become obvious. And we must always judge people by the fruit on their tree. May God give us strength and wisdom to live as He designed us to live!
