Do bee strings boost your immune systems?

Not sure about the strings. :)

Cicada wasps and carpenter bees, are as menacing as they come.
They won’t sting.

If it doesn’t kill you...

Carpenter Bees

Many fell that dared to gnaw my deck, by the wrath of my Badminton racket of Justice

The Queen Carpenter bee can sting you, although she is usually down in the nest inside the wood. The Male bees are called sentry bees as they guard the nest, they are the ones who nosedive you and hover all around you as you get near, they cannot sting as they have no stinger. They are great fun with a tennis racket but as soon as you whack one another will be back to take his place. They ate my deck 4x4 corner posts from inside out. They bore a perfect 5/8 inch hole in the wood and burrow down inside, in my case about 2 feet down from the hole opening. If you cover the hole with duct tape they’ll eat through it. If you caulk the hole they’ll chew another exit hole. Poison is the only way.
