The modern men are not much better. Soy boys who I’m not sure can grow a beard or have hair one between their legs.
Many men dud not learn the necessity of plumage. All males need plumage to be attractive.
For humans, it is being well dressed and being able to perform well against other males.
I think most females look around at other females to see their mates and they compare what they have with what others were able to get.
