I am very familiar with Gorilla Glass.

First, it is not indestructible.

Second, any glass can have manufacturing flaws that lead to cracking like what happened to the Gladiator owner. He will probably get it replaced under warranty.

That's a fact...yet it's only chip resistant and it reduces the effects of impact damage and cracking? to what extent ? it doesn't say...

Not just one Gladiator owner...Did you read all the anectodal problems with gorilla glass that were noted in that 2 page thread ? and the related links to other threads at the bottom ? and that's just mostly for the gladiator ? There are also anecdotals that rave about gorilla glass, so it's not just complaints...

After all this time, I still have a habit of responding before reading through the thread where the answer\explanation might already have been given...seems a lot of us here need to read through the thread first before going off half-cocked....
