According to the US House schedule the last day of regular session was at the end of July. August is vacation for campaigning. Am I missing something?

Yes. You are missing something. Dig in. They are still in session and not following the calendar. Check Bruno Barking's feed. This was discussed on tonight's X22 as well. You'll need to read the whole thread he put up and all parts/videos/etc.

1/ WHY is Congress still in session? They’re supposed to be in August recess!

Especially since the MIDTERMS are coming up and Senators and Congressmen would normally want to be back in their constituencies campaigning for reelection!

Something is not right…
they are not following this calendar!
