I was just in Ottawa for a week and every one there, with a few exceptions, is a brainwashed oaf. And happily smug about it. They believe everything the government and media tell them. It’s very sad and frustrating. But not surprising.
I weep for our former country. And I look forward to Alberta pushing back. But I won’t hold my breath. If we didn’t have grandkids (and son, of course) here, I’d be lobbying to leave for good, for points south.
I lived there and worked among them, so I know what you experienced. It’s very depressing, but they live in a bubble/echo chamber, so not entirely surprising. They know nothing else. When you see an entire city filled with indoctrinated people, getting through to them feels hopeless until I realize that they’re like Washington, D.C.. They’re completely dependent on the Federal Government for their existence. They’re in the belly of the beast and think they’re safe.
Just like New England! Must be something in the water. 😕 My son from Rhode Island came to Florida 18 years ago, says he could never go back. That side of the family is almost impossible to hold a conversation with.
Of course there are still some awakened people north of Long Island -- they are FReepers! 😄
