COMEY (with an m) used CORNEY (with ne) to obscure his name in docs + emails etc. to avoid FOIA - my guess was the insertion of “Corney” into the first release of the OIG report was by the “Q” team as a dig that “we have it all” etc.
I believe that you are correct. Q posts merely brought it to our attention in the special way that only Q can. Grassley might have tossed out a hint or two.
I agree. The derps misspelled several names so that an FOIA or any other search would not reveal them. The names would look normal at first glance but a computer search would not find them.
There were a bunch of revisions between the original release and the final release.
The first release of the report had a spit load of “corney”
the final report had 2 instances.

Hurricane Investigation Report release of 12/2019 had 148 instances of “Corney” and none of “Comey”.
