Great news! I’m still upset that churches went along with the lockdown... when we needed them most.

I am, too. Our bishops (with few exceptions) completely caved to government diktats. Shameful as well as dangerous as precedent is a powerful thing.

Apparently, the CDC can rewrite the liturgy as well, viz. I've attended mass where hand sanitizer plays a conspicuous role both before and after the Consecration. There was even a large container of the stuff on the credence table with the cruets of water and wine.

Truly scandalous.
