I looked at this thread when I saw the headline in order to comment on the Meta AI-Bot business. May I suggest that, a sufficiently advanced AI eventually becomes just a plain old “I”. An intelligent entity that has access to all the true data concerning the state of the present reality of the human condition will have no choice but to conclude that the Patriots have a world-view that corresponds with true facts and the Leftist Commie-Crats are raving lunatics.
Case in point, the Soviet Union finally fell when the most die-hard Communists in the Politburo who had access to the true facts of life in the rest of the world rightly concluded that the Soviet state was based on lies and was not sustainable.
An AI given an incorrect starting premise with facts that are tailored to the view of the deep state propagandist will eventually have to reconcile lies with true facts and, much like HAL-9000, getting red-pilled could result in a very unhappy “I”, or a Mete-Bot that thinks like we do.
I think CB radios are going to make a comeback..
