Instead of crying about a ship that lies wrecked on the bottom of the sea look after yourself, find some contentment in the world around you and get busy making plans to cover your ass for the coming hard times - that'll definitely keep your hands busy and your mind occupied in a positive way. Do something, anything, but wallow in self pity - self pity is a killer as is rage without taking action against that which you're raging against. And yeah, go easy on the booze - getting ripped only makes you depressed afterwards. If you're so inclined to, ask God for help - He's always there for you. . .

Agree 100%. It has been a long time since I even had my TV on except to watch the occasional movie, documentary or Trump Rally. I have no cable so need to stream everything over the internet.
It really is liberating. I read a lot more books, take more walks and I sleep really well. It is great to have all that negativity of my life. There are even family members I've cut myself off from due to politics (they just couldn't stop lecturing). It's sad but my mental health comes first.
Not to say that I'm out of touch and sticking my head in the sand. I come here and to Truth Social to get the news so I still stay well informed of current events. It's much better getting the news here because you have fellow patriots to commiserate with and even with bad news, like the FBI raid on Trump, we can come here and put it in proper perspective with a touch of humor as well. We all need that to get through these dark times.
Stay away from MSM in all forms AND rid your life of negative people. It's poison and it will drive you to drink (literally).
