Came across two posts in the forum that I think best explain the Mar Lago raid so far. The fact that they brought a safe cracker and the raid took 9 hours doesn't fit with other explanations very well - the safe and raid duration seem to imply the Deep State genuinely believed it finally had something on Trump, and that it was in the safe and/or Melania's warddrobe.
So the idea that Trump was flushing out a mole and exposing the deep state seems best to me, so far. I don't know about Mark Meadows, but if there was a mole (or multiple moles), they've certainly been exposed. Maybe one mole was given info about the safe and another was give a tip about documents in Melania's warddrobe. Maybe others passed the loyalty test? I dunno...I just like the fit of this theory so far.

Mark Meadows... remember he did something when Trump had covid? But then it was walked back? It left an unpleasant taste in my mouth.

The thing that bothers me most, the whole raid not withstanding, is that the secret service not only let the Fboobs into MAL but helped guard the gate while the Melania fashion show was going on. We need to hear from the top SS clown as to how his peeple allowed the entry to happen and are they sure the Fboobs didn’t bug the place while they were there. And why did the SS show more firepower during the raid than they EVER DO for normal security duty?
I expect that SS detail is done. Trump can’t trust them now. Their next duty might be beach shark watch? And Oh, BTW, when did the SS get the cute little tee shirts that say “secret service?” And on the front? Never seen that before, anywhere. Their main job is to be incognito, not el targeto.

I firmly believe Trump left the phony transcript somewhere he knew Schiff would steal it. Schiff then had to backtrack and say it was satire because he couldn't say how he actually got it.
