Bob.. you weren’t prying at all! And for clarification, I broke the left wrist 3 yrs ago and the right one 6 weeks ago. So different arms, different breaks lol.

Hope you are feeling good these days??

Hi PPD. You need to look for a second opinion

So find a doctor with an OD instead of MD

What's the difference between a MD and a do?

DO vs. MD Philosophy of care is the main difference between a DO and an MD. The main difference between DOs and MDs comes down to the philosophy of care. DOs practice an osteopathic approach to care, while MDs practice an allopathic approach to care.

After medical school, both M.D.s and D.O.s must complete residency training in their chosen specialties. They must also pass the same licensing examination before they can treat people and prescribe medications.

So the DO does another 2 years of residency after attaining a conventional MD.

Definitions from the Mayo Clinic:

Basically the DO takes an integrative and holistic approach

[My DO doctor quickly figured out that I was not an Altzheimer's candidate but normal for 80 year old]

Good luck.
