Author Salman Rushdie was attacked by a man today, as Rushdie was about to give a speech, and stabbed with a knife. His condition is not yet known.
Rushdie suffered years of death threats after releasing his 1988 book “The Satanic Verses”.
I hate that every time I see Salman Rushdie’s name, I see that scene from Seinfeld where Elaine is screaming at Kramer, “It’s SALL-MANN! Not SA-MON!!”
