I tried that before, but I was trying it on my desktop and couldn’t register on TS that way. On both my phone and iPad, I set my VPN location to the US but made the mistake of going to the App Store. I think the App Store has some tracking information embedded in the App download that told it who I was and where I’m located. The TS app was never available in the only version of the App Store I could get into.
This time, I set my location to the US but went to my browser and just searched for Truth Social. I got in, registered my device, got my confirmation email and am now stuck trying username after username to find one that isn’t already taken. That’s not a bad problem to have. As soon as I get one that isn’t taken, I’ll let you know what it is. Thank you so much for reminding me to try again.
I finally hit on the right combination of moves to get access. Handheld device, VPN, search engine. DON’T USE THE APP STORE IF YOU’RE IN CANADA.
So I’m IN! Almost.
