I’m a federal sales tax guy. Collect it at the cash register, total “Truth in taxation “. When that 10$ item has a 1$ state tax and a 15$ federal tax people will come unglued.

The other positives:
-No IRS the state treasurer will send a monthly check to the US treasurer and I’m sure the secretary can deposit 50 checks a month.
- Power over unfunded mandates, state Gov may withhold tax check for DC stupidity. (Sates rights!)
- price of goods sold is decreased by all payroll/SS/MEDICARE/MEDICAID taxes/ fuel taxes/ phone or comm taxes etc.

Would not take long to weed out the swamp!

I like your take but I would rather like the fed tax at the manufacturing level so when a buyer buys something, the tax is already priced in. Even less tax enforcement costs at that level too. I’m on board with everything else. Let retailers, (especially small business) flourish while not having more fedgov to worry about.

Who did you get that from?

I posted an article. I spouted off an answer to a wide scale problem it addressed.

Talk about narrative chopping and isolating and personalizing. Yikes! I’m made out as everything but a seditionist to the thread.

I’m for a little multi-tasking is all, among the *Able*, and *against* being tranquilized from ever working something more than the keyboard. I say so every once in awhile.

It’s Emphatically not appreciated to address the deficit in local political workers, (see article) because after all we’re heroic, and we’re “warriors”, by gawd, with digits around here.

Multitasking, to answer a call, is offensive and an unsuitable topic for the thread, and stuff. 🙄

MoD, you’re officially a glutton for punishment. Good grief, woman, you must have the patience of a saint!
By Round 3 (today, no less) I’d have simply tossed up the “Not This 💩 Again” meme, and been done with it! 😃

That painting directly behind her is of the goddes Nemesis. Very interesting.

https://www.greekmythology.com/Other_Gods/Nemesis/nemesis.html

“Nemesis was the goddess of divine retribution and revenge, who would show her wrath to any human being that would commit hubris, i.e. arrogance before the gods. She was considered a remorseless goddess.

I prefer tariffs and a tax on state budgets.
Only importers would have to pay the tariffs and only the states would have to pay the feds on the budget tax.
Low tax and spending states would pay less.

I don’t think that door with the number 45 is his office. Mainly because we sort of know how the rich live, but not. He would not have doors like that to his office. They would be lavish. But that could be a door to where he stored that stuff?

Everything is HUGE at Mar-A-Lago lol. But even little old me has double doors to the office.

Like, he wouldn’t have that stupid toilet anywhere near him.

The door with 45 on it posted by Scavino I take as representing his door, office, etc, not a literal photo of the door the fibbers busted in/opened etc.
