I just discovered Yacht Rock a few weeks ago in my Amazon Prime music. It’s the perfect mix of music while working or swimming/sunning in the pool. They need to add it to DirecTV.

You basically hit the nail on the head. It's the music that sounds best when you are poolside, on a boat, or just sitting on your back deck (like I am right now) on a hot summer day with the dragonflies flitting about and the leaves on the trees shimmering in the bright sunlight.

It's the perfect music to sort of retreat from the harsh world around you and maybe get into a good book while surrounded by the sounds and sights of summer.
