Before you delete that channel, consider that they are now playing "Sign In Stranger" by Steely Dan (off the "Royal Scam" album).

I don't think this track has gotten radio airplay in 40 years!

Also, this Yacht Rock woman would like me to come aboard, so I guess I'll be occupied for a while. She's a Steely Dan fan too, I presume.

Yacht Rock woman looks like my old elementary school teacher, but I’d give her a toss. And one song does not a good channel make, even speaking as a fellow Steely Dan fan. As an aside (WARNING: NAME DROP INBOUND), although we never formally met, Skunk Baxter and I had overlapping stints on the Pentagon MDA program back in the 90’s. It was a cool gig.

I’m thinking more of an afternoon in the Oregon woods picking wild mushrooms- it’s sunset and there’s a keg of Pabst Bock in the truck with Solo cups. Time to set up camp and break out the telescope.
