Arizona does not (currently) have a “Lieutenant Governor”...
Line of succession is:
1) Governor
2) Secretary of State
3) State Treasurer
4) Superintendent of Public Instruction
(Note: Mark Finchem just won the Republican Primary and looks to be the favorite to win Secretary of State in November)
Perhaps Lake should be given a full term in AZ to kick azz and take names, clean up that state, and only then see her considered for higher office. Otherwise we’ll simply have another flash in the pan Sarah Palin redux - bailed out as Governor and not ready for prime time VP. I’d like to see what Kari can do for AZ first.
I believe Arizona lacks the position of Lieutenant Governor. The Secretary of State is next in line.
