Probably no rooster so they would be pretty quiet. Who knows you may need them for eggs in the future.

Who knows you may need them for eggs in the future.

I'd love to raise some chickens for eggs. Was so disappointed to find out that my little down doesn't allow it "in town", but does on the surrounding acreages.

Nephew (lives about 40 miles away), has lots of chickens in his 1/2-acre backyard, & the eggshells are every color you can imagine. He brings me a couple dozen when they have an over-abundance, which fortunately for me is fairly often. :-)

They used to have a rooster, and he would crow at any and all hours, not just at dawn! Glad he’s gone!
