Few people, men and women, have rewarding careers.
Most people, men and women, have jobs that they would quit instantly if they had the financial security to do so.
That is absolutely the truth. A person can like their job, and be happy doing what they do. Like driving a truck. It is hard, killing work. But some people like it - but I think that is as compared to other jobs. Give people the option of making the same thing, or even a little less, by staying home and doing what they want to do, and I think most of them would say to hell with the job! Even if they liked their job.
