Ukraine has a more central history in the emergence of Christianity by way of Kyiv. That’s part of Putin’s anti Christian modus operandi.
Putin invaded Ukraine. Putin has massive nuclear weapons he mockingly refers to as satan missiles aimed at the U.S. He is a loyal to the mission of destroying the United States as any KGB agent has ever been.
