And many are not “stupid” per se - but have chosen to be stupid. Not low IQ, just want to be in a cult. Want to believe. I have in my family people like that. They want to believe what they believe and refuse to consider that anything outside their field of belief could possibly be true. Literal pussy hat wearers.
