The PTB get to the bottom of nothing. Funny (not really) how the world's most powerful, advanced nation - one with intelligence, defence, security and other assets beyond all others - continually drops the ball and can't find its ass with both hands. Lots of pointing, screaming, legislation, etc, then it's something else all over again, yet in the end, nobody is actually found or anyone so much as loses a job. Some perp is always "off the radar" or "some memo went unred." Yeah, this could happen to anyone, right? Surely...

John Brennan was the US ambassador to Saudi Arabia and personally signed the visas for the 19 hijackers. He reportedly converted to Islam while there, and I heard him give a speech to a bunch of Moslems (someplace, can’t remember) but I listend to most of it, and he praised Islam as the best religion, quoted the Koran in good Arabic.
Who appointed him? GWBush? Hmm.
