A young man I worked with dropped out of HS and immediately got his GED. He had a wide skill set. Although I was 3 times his age he was the manager and great.

Same thing crossed my mind. I think we’re on to something here.
Even if someone has a high school diploma, that means so little, and is so variable, that GED with scoring might be a useful thing for a hiring manager.
