Yeah, stupid voice to text must be gay-friendly! Lol
Say what you will about General Patton. The man was a genius and he helped to defeat Germany and he also kept your scumbag Russian friends out of Denmark.
During WWII, the Allies hit German and Europe’s rail network innumerable times. It was usually repaired very quickly. Whether Russia can achieve the same speed remains to be seen but taking out a rail BRIDGE is far more devastating than just rails on the ground. The steel/concrete structure must be repaired which takes far longer and usually is not possible quick enough to affect the outcome.
Weirdo, this isn’t WWII. Invoking 1940s Patton with his weird unChristian and nutty beliefs, to comment on 2022 strife in Eastern Ukraine is retarded ... even for you.
Patton still had frostbite from his 1812 foray into Russia with Napoleon, so I guess we should listen LOL. “It was so cold...”.
Blowing this bridge up makes it much more difficult to supply Crimea. If push comes to shove, Ukraine will blow up its own infrastructure, including the pipeline network to wester Europe.
Piss off, DesertDork. I was responding to someone else’s comment about Patton.
“Piss off, DesertDork. I was responding to someone else’s comment about Patton.”
Turns out YOU are the person who invoked Patton!!! That is textbook trolling to post something and then act as if the people who respond to you started the discussion.
Physics -- and engineering -- are hard sciences. They're not subject to propaganda, or spinning, or anything else. The idea that a ferry can provide anything close to the traffic and tonnage that bridge could supply is laughable. And given that the Ukrainians managed to sink Russian warships in the much larger Black Sea, a targeted ferry is unlikely to last long.
The important of bridges has been a truism of warfare for literally thousands of years.
“and they will”
You’re likely to suffer some rough ridicule if they don’t.
Many here remember.
An underrated gem right there! A suitably ridiculous premise that makes a movie that is actually pretty good.
