We bought a house with a small recirculation pump at the water heater. What a joy that is! Almost instant hot water anywhere in the house, even at the farthest points. It must be working — no shower heart attacks here.

Amen to that. Ours was out of order for a couple days. We didn’t think it would be a big deal, but it was.
Love ours. The plumber suggested it when we remodeled our master bath. Used to take a couple of minutes to get hot water to that end of the house. Now it’s instant on. Love it. Coupled with the washlet/bidet toilet seat, life is good.
