I spent 3 full days on the Q Thread before I was banned from there going around and around in circles about Ashli Babbitt.
People that never seen a serious cut or broken bone were relying what they’ve seen in movies and basing their opinions on that.
Blood color, not enough blood, exploding wound, too much blood, they did CPR on her even though she wasn’t dead or even though she was dead……..etc., etc.
So many people everywhere not just here can’t understand how Satan can entice. They refuse to think they’d ever be fooled by evil and accept the “Mark of the Beast”.
Well, Satan knows how. Just wrap it up into a conspiracy. The “Mark” whatever that is won’t be the “Mark of the Beast” but a Mark of resistance, or God, or (like many do with Ukraine vs Russia) if the Left hate it, it must be good.
Or even unity of some kind.
Satan will use the internet and grifter greed and people’s love for conspiracies.
Because honestly……..any love outside of love for God can be manipulated.
Trying to reason with Q cult members and their fellow travellers is an exercise in futility. (Heinlein said it with more flair, but I’ll refrain from quoting him now.) No matter how much proof you provide, no matter how sound your logic, they will stubbornly stick to their beliefs.
I remember trying to reason with the “Ashli Isn’t Really Dead” crowd back then, too, but on the general board (never been to the Special Q thread). When they demanded statements from her family as proof and then other Freepers posted quotes from her family published by various media outlets, they dismissed them as fake. Then they demanded a notice of her memorial service as proof, but when Freepers posted that, they said that was fake, too, and wanted photos as proof. When the photos were provided, that wasn’t sufficient proof after all. Only her death certificate would suffice. I have never seen a death certificate published in the media for public perusal, so they’ll never get that and they knew it. If it miraculously had been published, they would have proclaimed it fake as well.
Believe or not, some still believe in the Sham Wow version. I went round with one who still believes just a couple of weeks ago:

And wouldn’t you know it, one of the more ardent anti-vaxxers demanded a death certificate for Spencer Webb (thread was about his death) as proof he did not die from the vaccine on the same thread, even though aware of numerous media reports he died from a fall on a dangerous rock slide:

You can’t make this stuff up!
Also, to be fair, though, it takes a really big person to admit he or she was conned, especially if the person promoted or defended the con over time. Few human beings are that big. The heck of it is, everyone would admire them for doing so, not shame them. Perhaps it’s more correct to say how hard it is for someone to admit *to himself* he’s been duped. Of course the Q cult says the same about us “normies” who don’t believe in Q and have supposedly been duped by “the Deep State”.
Twenty years from now, when all the vaxxed people still haven’t dropped dead from it, those who believe so will still believe it was designed to kill. Already it’s been like the Climate Changers who keep moving the time when the ice caps will melt, first by years and then decades (Gore predicted the northern ice cap would be gone by 2014). No matter how many times their predictions fail, they keep believing or find excuses to believe they’re right anyway (like believing every malady and death is caused by “the vaxx” even when proven to be from some other cause).
