Virtually all the images from both Hubble and Webb are computer generated images generated by the software’s programmed interpetation of the data supplied. They are notphotos or images as the eye would see.
IR, LP filters, long exposures, even the optics, can see what the eye can't or what the eye may or may not perceive.
Is this a bad thing?
The data supplied....So is the interpretation of the data from the telescope is not accurate? Or is it being manipulated to fool us?
You do realize even consumer grade cameras have internal processing to some degree and is not what the eye actually sees..Right? Actually, same with film formats which were manipulated during processing in the dark room...lol
