I appreciate the simple way I grew up. We were happy and knew there were people in the world that has less than we had.
We didn’t have much but I don’t think we were ever hungry and we were always clean. Even in the most troubled times, we were still better off than some people I knew who sometimes went to bed hungry and went to school dirty. I was always grateful for what we did have and I remain grateful for my blessings today.
