I admit, I needed that.
I’d gone soft on Pompeo’s stand— with Trump?, or with himself?, or against Trump, the man?, as a contender for the presidency?.
Pompeo seems whip smart, was set free and handed plenty of geography to cover, all over the world, sent to appear forceful and even rather independent, as his own man.
Pompeo is the best poker player of them all, next to Trump. He will not show his cards, and his sleeves are tightly buttoned.
