“Niacin extended-release (ER), a recent-
ly introduced intermediate-release niacin
formulation, has a unique delivery system
that allows drug absorption over 8 to 12
hours. This formulation was developed in
an attempt to achieve the lipid-lowering
efficacy of niacin IR with a reduced inci-
dence of flushing and to minimize the
hepatotoxicity seen with longer-acting for-
mulations. Niacin ER is FDA approved for
the treatment of dyslipidemia and is avail-
able by prescription only. 9”

Again, the label for the niacin product contains the liver warning and testing label. Be aware.

Dick Morris in interview with Governor Mike Huckabee: “God spared me in order to get Trump Re-Elected.” Wow! Thank you Dick. MAGA!
Probably something that’s added to make it extended release is also harmful. Avoid drugs and formulations. Just get pure, unaltered nicotinic acid. It’s cheap, safe and readily available (brands like BulkSupplements and PureBulk).
If it is time released it is NOT nicotinamide.
