Was it 1979 or 1980 when we had a heatwave similar to this?
Over 100 days straight of over 100 degree heat. It was horrible.
Yes Texas is hot every year but this year is especially bad, I sure pray our power grid stays on!

1936 was nothing to sneeze at: July was the peak month, in which temperatures reached all-time records—many of which still stood as of 2021. In Steele, North Dakota, temperatures reached 121 °F.......

Summer of ‘80. It was my first summer in Texas and I thought they were always like that. LOL
I think it was as recent as 2011 when we broke the record for consecutive 100 degree days. But this one seems to be higher temps. this is bad.....
