As I believe was discussed in Bugliosi’s book, the select committee made a technical error and mistook a motorcycle backfire on an audio tape for gunfire. The Warren commission also made a serious technical error in reenacting the assassination. But the bottom line remains, Oswald was the lone assassin, which was clearly revealed by the evidence and his own actions.

I’ve read it, but I don’t believe he revealed anything substantive that hadn’t already been argued ad nauseam.
Overrated in my view.
